Once upon a time, God said to Noah there was going to be a flood so he should

build an ark that would float and shelter himself and his family when the great

flood starts. God also told him to bring two of every animal into the ark. In

animal's world, there was a rumor that Noah was to take with him on the ark only

the best of all the living creatures. It made the animals vie with one another, each

showing off about its own virtues and whenever possible belittling the merits of

others. Among the animals boasting their own merits, there was a only creature

who didn't try to speak and compete with the other animals. It was a dove perched

alone on a branch. Noah had noticed the dove was silent differently from other

animals. So he asked the dove why he didn't boast.
