1. Introduction-cell division
Cell division is the process by which a parent cell divides into two or more daughter cells. Cell arise only from preexisting cells. Cell division plays several important roles in the live of organism. Cell division on large scale allows some multicellular organism reproduce asexually (such as plants that grow from cuttings.) Among sexually reproducing organisms, cell division is the basic of sperm and egg formation.
Cells are classified into two categories: simple, non-nucleated prokaryotic cells, and complex, nucleated eukaryotic cells.
